One of our latest challenges at Autobahn Logic: a 2006 BMW X5. This vehicle’s engine exhibited rough idle and random misfire, along with other multiple problems with engine performance.
We followed manufacturer’s recommended diagnostic procedure and tested the engine’s electronic and mechanical management. The diagnosis was that there was lack of compression on one of the cylinders. There was also a problem with valvetronic system (geometry issue).
We repaired the malfunction replacing necessary components and reprogrammed the ECU with the latest software version. To maintain the quality of our repairs we only use original OEM or OEM-equivalent parts and fluids.
